How to sand corks

Tools needed:

• protective glasses,
• pillar drill,
• threaded bar with large washers & nuts,
• tape wound on to bar so it is a good fit,
• spanner,
• sandpaper in different grades.
  
  

STEP 1		STEP 2
Fit the cork over the threaded bar and tighten the nuts just so that the cork grips.		Hold bar in drill chuck. Scrap section of wood or cork though the table of drill helps support the cork whilst sanding.
STEP 3
Using different grades of sandpaper gradually sand the profile you need.
