How to sand corks
Tools needed:
- protective glasses,
- pillar drill,
- threaded bar with large washers & nuts,
- tape wound on to bar so it is a good fit,
- spanner,
- sandpaper in different grades.

STEP 1
Fit the cork over the threaded bar and tighten the nuts just so that the cork grips. -
STEP 2
Hold bar in drill chuck. Scrap section of wood or cork though the table of drill helps support the cork whilst sanding -
STEP 3
Using different grades of sandpaper gradually sand the profile you need.
