Review by Chris Ward, Craftsman

Epoxy finish

general picture of rod blank turning with 7 samples of finish drying at the same time.

Colour preserver

Working the thread I treated each half of the thread as individual, the feint blank line denotes the centre between Left & Right. When applying colour preserver the second coat was applied 24hrs after the first coat.

Control Sample

This is the control sample of thread. Left is thread with no finish or colour preserver. Right is a section of the same thread with one coat of epoxy finish but NO colour preserver applied.

Rod-Dancer Chromaseal

Thread on the left one coat, thread on the right two coats Rod-Dancer Chromaseal, with one coat of epoxy finish.

Pro Road Sealer

Thread on the left one coat, thread on the right two coats of Pro Road Sealer, with one coat of epoxy finish.

Prokit Sealer

Thread to the left one coat, thread to the right two coats of Prokit sealer, with one coat of epoxy finish.
