Concept of 2nd. generation sloped frame

The more sloped the circular ring gets, the worse the line passage works. Ellipsoidal ring on the single foot will increase the weight due to longer frame and ring. It will also increase the load on fulcrum point and can make the frame less strong. (Except for “IM series" launched in 2007, This guide overcame the problem  adapting double-sloped-frame.) In order to keep good line passage, the 2nd generation sloped frame is made in standing ring and added sloped bridge at the front.

Line tangle decreases when smaller guides and more number of guides are used. The angle of frame slope also plays an important role. The more sloped the frame gets, the better disentangling function works.

Best shape to realize the disentangling function is narrow, short frame and smaller ring.

FUJI GUIDE CONCEPT introduced “sloped frame" to the market. This frame is designed for long rods for boat or rocky shore float fishing where anglers use very fine line or super braided line. This model is designed especially to solve the entangling problem with super braided line that is very easy to get entangled.

The line does not run wild when there are many guides and reduce the tangling possibility.
