There is more torque on the side of the guide due to its large diameter ring and high frame. There is less torque on the side of the guide due to its small diameter ring and low frame.
  • You won't be able to cast to your target area accurately beacause you cannot cast straight and especially the tip section is curved if twist gets big.
  • The power to twist the rod like the picture occur if the power brqought from the line adds to the horizontal direction for the rod and you cast with the rod leaned.
  • The torque of twist is small due to the priciple of the leverage if the height of the guide is low and small.
